Visiting this website

When you open a page, your browser sends the technical data needed to deliver it: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system.

This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., San Francisco, USA, which also delivers images and video through its content delivery network. We use these data only to deliver the website securely and reliably. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland. To display them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working and consistently presented website.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_3JD1BRF08L) that are stored for up to two years. According to Google, IP addresses are not stored. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can prevent analytics at any time by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you choose a language (EN, DE or 繁中), your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the page opens in that language next time. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Legal basis for this: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as it is strictly necessary for a function you asked for.

Booking a demo or a workshop

Our booking and enquiry forms are provided by Fillout, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you submit a form, we receive what you enter, such as your name, email address, company, role and message, and use it to answer your request and to prepare and hold the meeting.

Giving us these details is voluntary, but we need at least your name and email address to reply.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps before a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and contact details to reply. Our email runs on Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Clients

When you become a client, we process the contact and contract details needed to deliver our services and to invoice. Clients using the Kregtech platform receive a data processing agreement on request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for records we must keep under German commercial and tax law.

Links to other websites

Links to LinkedIn, Luma, YouTube, the European Climate Pact and other websites are plain links. No data is sent to these sites until you click, after which their own privacy policies apply.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with the service providers named in this policy, who process it on our behalf under data processing agreements, or where the law requires us to. We never sell or rent personal data.

Webflow and Fillout are based in the USA, and Google may transfer data to the USA. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep data

We delete personal data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for. Where the law requires us to keep records, such as invoices and business correspondence, we keep them for the statutory periods of six to ten years.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), and to withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

To use any of these rights, email chiachun.hsieh@kregtech.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

We update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows the current version.
