Before Kregtech, Chiachun Hsieh was deeply involved in ESG and sustainability work with organisations including EnBW, Siemens Energy, and Trench Group.
During this time, she developed a love-hate relationship with sustainability regulation compliance. Her experience with ClimatePartner also gave her insight from both sides of the equation, as a service provider and a service leader, where she consistently encountered the same challenge.
Having seen both ends of the compliance struggle, she founded Kregtech to become the solution bridging these gaps.
In 2025, Kregtech was selected to join the Avant Now Accelerator, an EU-funded programme based in Berlin that supports early-stage startups in sustainability and tech.
With an acceptance rate of around 1%, the selection marked a significant milestone, offering Kregtech access to funding, mentorship, and Berlin’s innovation ecosystem.
Following the signing of its first design partnership with an Asian company, Kregtech was officially incorporated in 2025.
This marked the company’s transition from concept to formal entity, securing its first paid client and setting the foundation for product development and future growth.
